FY25 Personal Property Public Dataset

Federal agencies are required to report data to GSA on excess assets transferred to non-federal entities, as mandated by 40 USC 529 and outlined in FMR 102-36. While some of this activity is facilitated through GSA's Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), agencies also possess direct transfer authorities, such as the Computers for Learning program, as well as agency-specific authorities. These allow agencies to directly transfer property to non-federal recipients. GSA's Office of Government-wide Policy collects and maintains this data in the Personal Property Reporting Tool (PPRT).
