The Travel & Transportation Division focuses on government-wide policy and operational aspects of travel, and relocation. They are responsible for developing and recommending regulations and policies concerning travel, relocation, transportation management, audits, and mail management. This includes establishing lodging, meals, and incidental expenses per diem rates, along with rates for using privately owned vehicles for official travel. This division also collects, analyzes, and reports on government-wide travel and relocation data, and co-chairs the quarterly Senior Travel Official Council. Additionally, they are involved in developing and maintaining standardized travel and expense business standards under the Federal Integrated Business Framework.
